My name is Ema, welcome to This Little Plate, a corner of the internet for the flavour obsessed. Here you will find simple, delicious recipes for weeknight dinners, little plates, and show-stopping entertaining. Whether it’s a twist on a classic, a weeknight hack, or a meal to impress, you’re covered here.

Like many of us who find ourselves in the kitchen, tired from a busy week but still excited to cook something new, to try a weird ingredient we’ve never used before, or experiment with a flavor combination we’ve been dreaming about, food is a love language, a creative expression, a way to connect. I want to cook with flowers and pickle fruit, always remaining curious, cooking barefoot in the kitchen for the people I love.

A little about me I’ve been recipe developing, food styling, and photographing food and products, working in-house as a creative director for over 8 years. I’ve been lucky enough to have recipes published in magazines and even compiled into a branded cookbook. I have a cat (Taco), a dog named (Toffee), and three cheeky little chickens.
